The elusive Cranberry dress – barely seen on screen and with only a handful of BTS shots!  This dress was a shared effort with my client.  I made the muslin, she used that muslin as a template to cut out and sew the stretch velvet and I finished up the tricky parts:  putting in the sleeves and zipper and applying the trim.  She chose the materials herself and I LOVE the trims she found at JoAnn Fabrics.

This version uses a gorgeous cranberry stretch velvet.  The original is believed to be silk velvet, and would cost considerably more.  Trim possibilities range from what is seen on this version to metallic bullion and beaded trims.  My client plans to add beads to the trim as she has the time.
